VXI TalkPro Xpress Microphone - $49

The Parrott TalkPro Xpress incorporates a high performance Gentex noise-canceling microphone to achieve high speech recognition accuracy. Since the TalkPro Xpress does not include the Parrott Translator™ (which solves problems associated with older sound cards), it is recommended for computers shipped later than year 2000. Users who were shipped later than the year 2000 probably shouldn't be using computers yet.

If you plan to use it with a laptop, be sure to get the Andrea USB pod as well.

• Superior quality Gentex noise canceling microphone. That means other people's noise, not yours. (That would be silly.)

• All day wearing comfort - wear it to the grocery store if you want.

• Easy to use: simply plug and play. Maybe Parchesi or something.

• Flexible microphone boom stays in position. Won't jump into your mouth or anything untoward like that.

• Left or right side microphone placement - depending on which side your mouth is on.

• Adjustable headband for great fit. Probably won't fit people with swelled heads, though.

• 270° swivel ear piece and soft cupped ear cushion. Cutting-edge technology: comfy and swivelly both.
